Bargain Braggin'

Can you say "Fried Food" boys & girls? :)

So a couple of days ago, Bob and I were out treasure hunting in the fertile meadows called Goodwill of Austin, and we found a Sunbeam deep fat fryer for less than $40.  It appeared to be brand spankin' new ... minus only the outside packing box.  It was - in fact, inside the instruction book we found the original order from QVC.  Fourteen years old, never used once.  That's new as far as I'm concerned.

So this morning I finally put the oil in it and made some fast donuts.

MMMMM!!!!  TASTY!!!!!

I had 5 little potatoes left in the bag ...

One Potato, Two Potato ...

Made fries and chips.

Then I spied the tortillas ...

Flour Tortilla frying ...

Dunked in cinnamon and sugar, we have cinnamon crispas, ready to eat. YUMMY!!!

BUT WAIT!  THERE'S MORE!!! :)

Are you thinking what I was thinking?

What do you get when you fry corn tortillas in hot oil? (hint ... need salt and salsa ...)

And I did this all in my tiny RV kitchen.

No, I didn't quite make it to the onions in the back - onion rings come later, after I wash all the dishes and we get hungry again.  A good munch was had by all.
