I went out on a proverbial limb a week or so ago, and purchased resale rights to a product currently being sold on Clickbank. It was a win-win-win for me, because it gave me all of the 39 videos that may shine a light on what steps I may be missing in this "figure out the make money online" path I'm on. Plus, I now have the option of promoting it as an affiliate (which I toyed with doing) AND I can set up my own delivery system and sell the whole course myself, keeping the entire enchilada if anybody buys it. I'm not ready to do that yet, but it's nice to know I can should I so desire.
So last night the boys put on their webinar for those of us who purchased the resale rights at the "fire sale" they'd promoted. It was scheduled to run from 8 to 9:30 my time. I am thankful, by the way, that my wifi (which has been horribly spotty and notorious for dropping signal right when I'm in the middle of something important) stayed up and didn't drop me a single time.
I had several aha moments during the webinar, which I won't bore you with here and now, but it's interesting to note that these guys stayed on the line until midnight my time. Yes, you did the math right - we were on that webinar for a full 4 hours. And yes, this morning looking back, I am glad I stuck it out for the whole time, and I'm impressed that they were willing to stay and answer every single question that we all typed into the chat box. Can't recall ever being that impressed by a group doing a webinar for a long, long time.
In fact, I am fairly certain that the last person who impressed me that much was Erica Stone, Sojourn on Squidoo, and author of Niche Blaster which is a How-to manual for building pages on the Squidoo platform that convert like crazy. It's featured on my squidoo page on the topic of Books About Squidoo. I also have a lot of respect and admiration for Barbara Ling, who wrote a book that is one of the best over all affiliate marketing eBooks I've ever had the pleasure of reading.
So with all this stuff I've been absorbing over such a long period of time, I'm finally at the point in my education where I realize that I know what I'm doing, and I can see those parts of this marketing puzzle that I've avoided for one reason or another. My next task is to start plugging those holes. More on that later.
Have a wonderful Friday the 13th, my friends!
